I'm looking all over and all points are pointing to the one connector that I was messing with... it's possible that the paper clip I used was coated in something and was non-conductive. I'm going to try it again with something that I'm sure is conductive... question, is there possibly any damage to just having done what I did? Essentially what I did then is just unplug the connector and didn't short it (I'm assuming) is that damaging at all?
