Personaly I could care less what motors you like or dislike,but hating on something that is good,for the sake of hating because it is "played out yO" is stupid.Period.Your friend did not (maybe he did but it was the biggest waste of time and money) put a B series head on a D series or as you call it ZC,It wouldn't take a lot of work,it would take a complete filling and remachining of both the head and block since the bolts,dowels,oil and cooling feeds don't match up.And like Dubster99 said there are cams that disable vtec but most turbo cams just change the duration,lift,and overlap.
