I have a question on double clutching here. I understand what it is and how to do it. My question is when downshifting from a gear I usually just put in the clutch give it a lil blip and then pop it to the next gear down at the same time making a smooth transition. But I just read that you are supposed to put in the clutch take it out of gear then let off the clutch the put the clutch back in and blip the throttle and drop it down a gear at the same time. Basically my question is do you have to let up on the clutch to be downshifting double clutching correctly. Because I've been double clutching for long enough now that I don't even realize I'm doing it and I've just been leaving the clutch engaged while doing it.

Oh and kfar, what part of Cinci are you from? I'm just curious, I'm from Cincinnati as well.
