Alot of radios have the power antenna connection for a power antenna which turns on the moment the radio turns on and the same when off. Not all power antennas shut off when you go into cd/tape mode. Im sure the majority of power antennas still stay up and have power when even in cd/tape mode cause if they didn't then that stick would just go up and down every time you switch modes.
Yes, if you have just one blue line it is constantly on, so you can run your amps to it.
