I also agree... DON'T CUT THOSE SPRINGS! Buy some lowered springs and shocks, but if you really want to do it right, buy some adjustable coil overs. That way if you decide to put 17's (but I wouldn't know why you would want to, just my opinion ) and your car is to low, you can just raise it up without worrying about buying another set of springs.

JG/Edelbrock has a nice set that handle killer but still ride like a car not a race car...
