Sleeper, this is really just for Cali where they have the leading number on the license.

That does make sense though. Same as Florida and Georgia (I think), where they have the name of the county on the bottom of the plate. I knew there has to be something important, but now, it's clearer.

Why not a custom plate? Once you get it, no one can ever have it. It's sort of making a claim within the state that your car exists. Most of our time and $$ is spent on making our cars stand out from the regular grocery-getters. Why not get something like this and stand out. Heck, I even see little Geo Metros and big old Ford Broncos with custom plates.

I hate the Yankees too, btw.:madfawk: Anyone from NY hate the Empire State plates too? I still have my Liberty plates on.
