nope, i said COUNTY, not country. The COUNTY you purchase the car NEW in, will predict a certain letter for the first place. The VIN # has nothing to do with your license plate. And im speaking for CA, i dont know other states.

hmm that's new to me, I don't really see the point though.
In NH it just goes by chronoligical order. Some people have 6 digit plates like my parents while other like me have 7 digits.
