well, the magazine was showing how to change the clutch of a Sylvia, so maybe those you do have to use a press. either way, i'm glad to hear i don't need a press to change it out.

since you guys have both done it, how difficult is it to change out if you don't have an impact wrench? the only tools i have at my disposal are some sockets, socket extensions, and jack stands to get the car in the air. i hear the tranny is light enough that i can drop it down by myself. is this true?
