My argument to this discussion for the past 3 years has always been the same. Whether any NSX made ever beat any Corvette made is irrelevant. You don't buy an NSX because you enjoy street racing every mullet that pulls up next to you in a Camaro or a Corvette. I bought mine because there's not someone driving one at every light, on every corner. Although i've ended up 'playing' around with a few C5 Vette's from a stop, I don't see much difference in the acceleration of them or my stock 92 NSX. Sometimes I'll end up a car length ahead, or just about dead even. Winning is great, but its just as great as a tie, when you race a car with 2 more cylinders than your car. Chevrolet builds a car with a 340hp V8, where as Honda gets the same, and in most cases better, results with a V6 car having 50 less hp. What are the Chevy fans trying to prove buy arguing against the two? Thats like NSX people bragging about how the NSX can smoke a 4 cylinder Ford ZX3. Big deal.
