I recognize that I might be a bit special ... but I see it as a positive. OCD in certain aspects can be seen as meticulous, detail oriented, and hard working.
I focused the OCD towards my career and ended up designing user interfaces. I'm meticulous with data architecture, usability, and delivery. I can channel the OCD into concepts and cover every base before a single line of code is written.
As far as daily life goes ... there's only so much energy for things. Maintenance is key. Put shit away. Don't make a mess. Don't be lazy. I never have to clean a closet because it never gets
that bad. I never have to "detail a car because it never gets
that bad.
As far as collections n shit ... things need to be protected. It's just something that bugs me. My dj gear all has bags and cases. The cases are all of the same brand when possible. My autographed collection are all in acrylic cases. The clear boxes are all of the same brand when possible. My games are in resealable cellophane baggies.
