I'd definately not go for the front mount intake... it just makes the water problem with CAI 100 times worse. Not only are rocks gonna be slamming into that filter, u're not gonna be drivin in rain, or wet road.

Putting cold air into your engine makes more power because cold air is denser than warm air. That means more oxygen, more combustion, more power.

I like the short rams, dun like dealing with a filter i can't even see. I'd put a cold air box around a short ram preventing heat from the engine bay from getting into ur filter. Won't do the job of a cai... but its better than nothing.
