If Civics are anything like Accords, i wouldn't take control stalk unless u kno what you're doing. I had the opportunity in taking my bro's accord apart because it malfunctioned and let me tell u that it's almost impossible for u to fix on ur own. I'd take it back to the dealer to get it fix. oh btw...the prob with his control stalk was that one of the electrical wires melted and metal was exposed.
