My 96 RL was shaking severely only during acceleration and between 40 and 60 mph and then again from 80 mph on up. The car would only shake when the throttle was engaged, I though it was my bent up aluminum rims and replaced them, it still shook. Then I had Acura look at it and they said my CV boots were about to come loose. I never would have guessed CV boots, it didn't make any noise or have any symptom that I knew of related to CV joints. Anyway, that is exactly what it was.
