I have a 92 civic vx with a 96 gsr swap. I bought the car about 3 1/2 years ago (Didn't know anything about cars then just like it cause it was fast.) I have learned a lot since then and work on honda all the time and have done a fair amount of swaps. Any way the car has never given me any problems until I put a v-afc in. The car has the entire 96 gsr harness under the dash and in the engine bay. Since I installed the controller the car will cut out at around 6300 RPMS. It is like the rev limited is moved to 6300 and the car seems to run a little slower. Everytime I turn the key off and turn it back on it will rev the whole way. I have checked the wiring and so has a couple of my friends(they were ASE certified) just to make sure it was right. Everything fine there. I swapped ECU with my friend and still same problem and the ECU never did it in his car. I swaped the v-afc with a friend and it still does this. No check eng lights except for the sec O2 sens that is not installed. Can anyone here help me with this one.
