You, for some reason, have the biggest chip on your shoulder. Yet will never come to me and say as much.
1. You are right about that. There will always be a give and take between people who have "power" (if that's what you want to call it on an internet message board) and us who don't have any.

2. I don't have a big chip on my shoulder at all, which is why I've never felt I had to address it with you. I just come on here like everyone else, when I'm bored to shoot the shit and have a little fun. Had you actually asked me what I thought or how I felt about certain topics, I would have been more than happy to explain. However, you always feel the need to put things out here in public. You quote people while saying "do this and get more points", "do this and get banned", blah blah...rather than keeping it private and sending them a PM. That would probably keep the firestorm down to a minimum. That is definitely part of the problem. For instance, look at the title/subject of this thread. An entire thread was started calling out the member base asking why we start/talk shit with the mods/admin. Wouldn't it be better off to contact those people who continue to do it on a regular basis rather than post this up for everyone to see? The whole idea of this thread is confrontational from the beginning. I have no problem with debate and confrontation about it, but don't be hypocritical about it.

The way I see it, I have been on this board for quite a while and been an active member on this board. The mods give us shit, we give the mods shit, that's just how it is. We argue, have a good banter back and forth...but yet some people take it overboard. This includes the Mods/Admin. It's a fucking internet board, it's not as serious as you make it out to be. We're not running WikiLeaks here. Someone posting a link about Facebook or a Torrent site isn't going to bring the world of HAN to a crushing demise. I understand there have to be certain rules and regulations, but let's be honest, that's a bit overboard. Again, you like to fuel the fire by posting in threads and dishing shit out without taking it. My response of "you guys aren't gods to the internet" was basically saying you guys are people just like us, and make the same sorts of posts that we do. Everyone here is the same. We all love cars and have some time to kill on the internet. As much as it's not a right for us to be here, we CHOOSE to be here. This board would be nothing without its members. I think sometimes that gets lost in the equation. There would be no ad revenue, sponsors, etc if there were no members clicking links on this site every day.

Another part of the problem is some of the people complaining barely post here anymore...and this goes for both sides...mods/admin and OG members. They may lurk and read all these threads, but don't post in them...so we don't see the interaction and the fact that they see what's going on.

This used to be such a chill ass place to come hang out and shoot the shit with your buddies, but it's becoming less and less like that all the time.

Dubcac. Out.
