The first shows the stock door with stock driver, then there is one with the rain guard cut out....guess what?!?! I do know how to use a dremel (not that well by the looks of the pic though
), then the third shows the midbass pushed as far back as it will go....as you can see, the driver doesn't go all the way back....the magnet hits the metal part on the door panel, and what do you know....it won't fit!!! The connections also get VERY close to the plastic on the door panel.
In the second photo, you can see that the hole in the actual door and the hole where the driver mounts are indeed two different sizes...further investigation shows that they are in fact oblong, and not perfect circles (go honda)
Again, that's what my civic looks like, there is NO plastic housing that is removable in any way. There are three screws not 4....There is also NO hole that is large enough to fit an 8" diver in...I guess the ball is in your guy's court seeing as you decided to gang up on me....that's fine...I don't have a problem with it.
And the only reason I talked to you like a child is because you were proven wrong but continue to read wrong and attempt to talk about something different.
A person telling me something doesn't equal being proven wrong...if that's what you really believe then you must believe the stories in the national enquirer too....I certainlly hope not...

I would agree that we are definitely having a communication breakdown here because as I have shown, you can't get a CX or IDQ 6" midbass to fit in a stock civic door (96-00 coupe) with out cutting some metal on the door panel and even then you will come extremely close to the window.
Now until you, Buckman, can come up with shots of a CX mid in a door where you didn't cut metal, some black plastic housing that belongs there with the door panel removed, and any of the other various claims that you have made....I'm finished.....like I said before, I have more important things to do with my time then argue this point.
