sorry you made the post that all 96-00 door panels are the same...I'm just saying that coupe (not couple) front door panels are different from those in sedans.

I don't think that I have to travel to Kansas...a few simple photos would do....show me the install, no major cutting, stock grille on there, with the steps involed - like I said, I don't think it's possible....

You said you can do it, I'm just asking for proof.

I'm not using the fact that I'm an engineer to prove that it can't be done....I'm using my eduaction, experience and common sense to make the evaluation that without some serious modifications, you can't get that driver properly installed in that door.

I can think of plenty of ways to get it in there...but if you refer back to my original post, I like to maintain the option of getting my car back to stock appearance if necessary

I'm asking you to prove me wrong...hell, I like learning something new. I'm not trying to be a dick here...I just don't think it can be done....I always challenge someone who tells me different...I don't roll over and change my opinion because someone else with 5 years experience tells me other wise.

Again, show me the driver in the door, show me the hole for the 8", show me the black housing held in by 4 screws.....a few photos should clear all of this up really quickly (check your helms manual and you will see no such housing exists...you could just pry off the grill and get the same results).

No reason for me to fly or put unnecessary miles on my car....
