Ok so i have posted on a job opening. This is a internal posting. Internally we use a elvalution system called OP (objective performance). So when you apply if you resume passes the first triage they request our OP for the past 2 years.
However for the past couple of years my current Dept is understaffed and so i get screw on it because almost EVERYONE here is Do Not Meet. I am very qualified for this job. So when sending in my OP i wanted to inform the person hiring that the OP in flawed... he is in a totally different dept and so wouldn't know this.
So when sending him the OP i have written this email. What do you guys think?
Hello Mr XXX,
As requested I am attaching my 2009 & 2010 BC1964. Also attached to this email you will find my Objective Performance of the same years. However I think it is important for me to clarify some of the numbers included in this Objective Performance. For the past years the Small and Medium Department has been under staffed. Because of the way our OP is made this means that we are a small number of people to try to reach our objectives. I want to take this time to put in perspective the results of my OP. At this point in the SMB department almost everyone, including the directors, are Do Not Meet.
Because of this I have taken the liberty of also including the Objective Performance for the previous years of which I was occupying a position similar to the job offer you have posted on Bellnet.
I appreciate the time you will take to took at these documents. I am very interested in working for you and look forward to hearing from you about this position.
This is VERY important to me... not just because the job is right down my alley, but also because its a pretty big promotion...
