The laundry is an addition to the house. They used the original slab, which was a step into the house, and poured additional concrete to make the area bigger. So yes, there are 2 different pours...you can clearly tell them apart. The additional pour is very rocky and has separated from the original slab, which is the crack.

What is a wall foundation?

I am looking at Ardex K15, http://www.ardex.com/cms%5CAssets%5C...-spec-us-e.pdf . If I end up using that, I just might have a concrete floor for the laundry room and skip the tiling if it looks nice. They just seal and shine it.
wouldn't that make it 3 different pours? center. left side. right side?
