Something I've realized that in a long-term relationship, both entities kinda absorb into each other. Pending your personality type, you might even become someone you're not. That happened to me. One way by myself, another when I'm with her. Fuck that noise.
Since March, I've been on a rediscovery of what makes me happy. It comes down to ...
1. Being in shape.
2. Hobbies. (games, cars)
3. Being useful. (@ work, around the house, to friends, etc)
I always have gone through a long single period between girls, and honestly, those have been some of the best times of my life. I'm not talking about chasing tail single, but just spending more time with friends and by myself. I think it's better for your mental health.
Right now I'm in a pretty good, healthy relationship, but I still feel like it takes up so much of my time I pretty much never just stop to watch a movie, mow the lawn or just chill.
