I try to get my buyers the best price no matter what. If it's not your agent's listing, it probably makes no difference to him/her how much it sells for. Most companies have designated brokerage (meaning your agent acts as your agent, but doesn't act as an agent to every client the company has). In that case in-company transactions work pretty much the same as if they were two separate companies.
