2004 Honda civic. I took it on to have timing belt and water pump replaced. Mechanic did not bolt everything back down properly. Bracket that holds wire harness to alternator was not bolted down and was laying on top of alt. Wires were not completely attached to alt either. Battery died, was completely dry. Bought new battery. Car dies again. Could this all have stemmed from mechanic not properly installing alt and if so why?
