yea, i have a trip in june and i'd like to have an e-reader for it, as it's up in canada on the boat all day and sitting around camp

i haven't heard of any coming up. i really think the strongest two are kindle and nook because of the amazon / b&n support. barnes has a more extensive library from what i understand as well as better epub support (works with most public library e lending services) whereas the kindle does not.

the nook also has a removable batter as well as microSD support. kindle has neither

however the kindle has slightly longer battery life and it sounds like the software is a bit smoother.

i think i'm going to go play with a nook at lunch and see what i think
