it's not a matter of what you can and can't wear. it's a matter of security. i have no problem if the govt says hey look you cant wear these in schools or in any govt building because it completely hides your identity.
and you can disagree all you want, its happened in iraq, afghanistan and pakistan on multiple occasions.
there's all kinds of countries who require women to wear such clothing, i dont hear you bitching about them imposing laws like that on the women without choice.

And even if it was for security reasons(and i know you know that in France it's not for security reasons) you're still giving the .gov the right to tell you what to wear or what to not wear all in the name of security. That's like a .gov banning all gun based on security. Guns are used in crime all the time right? Who's the hypocriticizer now?
