Ok don't flame me I just don't know much about this so I have to start off somewhere...

I have a 2 to 3 finger gap on the front tires, and about a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 finger gap in the rear tires (but that's because of the weight of the subs).

I want to drop my car, but only a little, I don't want to slam it. The problem is is that if I have a full load on my car the rear tires are very close to rubbing as it is (17" rims) so if I drop it will it rub a lot more? I don't want to flare out the fenders or whatever you do so the tires don't rub, but is that my only option? And how is the ride quality with the drop? And do they eat up the tires a lot faster and how much faster since the car has a lower center of gravity?
