to get the most out of any ecu mod you'll need tuning
At this point, from what I've read, it sounds like there isn't really a need to mess with the OE ECU unless I'm wanting to make some serious mods to the car.

I may just start with the exhaust and headers and go from there performance wise. Besides the basic bolt-ons (I,H,E) whats the next best bang for the buck for notable performance gains for the B18B besides nitrous?
