LS Jet Chip
So I'm considering sending the ECU from my 95 LS to JetChips and see what they can do to it for me. Right now, performance wise, the only real things I've done to the engine are an AEM V2 intake and advanced the ignition timing from 14 to 18 degrees BTDC. I'm planning on buying a Greddy exhaust and either a DC or Comptech header before sending the ECU to them though. Has anyone had them "chip" their ECU in the past? Any major pros or cons on a mildly modded Teg? My brother, who's into diesel VW's, has "chipped" OBD2 TDI Jetta's and Golf's with very good performance gains as well as improved fuel economy. Pretty much he swears by it and has been wanting me to chip my Teg for some time now. Granted, all of his rides have stock VW turbos on them, but with aftermarket injector nozzles and a mild tune, his cars have seen some decent "seat of your pants" improvement. He hasn't even changed the I,E,H on these cars either. Any good advice on this for the Integra would be appreciated. Thanks!
