No, but I've been spoiled by the amazing support on
cnet for my Samsung stuff.

here is one that was posted on TH not so long ago. Not sure if their methods were all too great or whether HP laptops were reported more often because their users were less likely to fix failures themselves (which would explain ASUS winning out) but I also don't think that explains a 50%+ hike over other manufacturers.
