Shudup...you know better than that that even a DSLR with the convenience of an 18-200 is better than a P&S. It is purely for convenience over anything else. If you are traipsing around the outdoors and you have to switch lenses you know dirt and particles get in on the sensor. Without an auto sensor cleaning you can do some serious damage. No matter how hard you try to not get shit in the body, it will inevitably get in there.

Ever try to shoot a whale watching trip? Yeah...good luck switching to the 18-55 when all the sudden a whale/dolphin/etc pop up in front of the boat 10 feet from the bow and by the time you have switched to the 18-55 the whale is long gone...:slap: With the 18-200...oh look I can just zoom to 18 and I can get the whole whale and not a small portion of it.
