Yup. If you can I would try to swap for the VR lenses. And also...I wish that I had the 18-200mm lens for my d40 as when I am on trips I am always switching back and forth, back and forth...a little annoying.

Honestly, they are both great cameras and I would spend some money taking some classes...then after the class you are probably going to want to upgrade your camera...I for one would LOVE the d90.
