Ok, I don't normally chime in on this stuff but, for some reason, the entire concept of this just makes me want to crush skulls. FFS the poor don't need fucking cell phones! They need jobs! Instead we give them more incentive to be lazy fucks. People don't need phones to survive, they need food, clothing and shelter. I make over 60k a year and I manage to get through life with out a damn cell phone just fine. I might as well give up my good job and have everything just handed to me. When it was just me and my mom and we were poor as fuck we didn't have this kind of federal assistance. I fought tooth and nail for every dime, nickel and opportunity that came my way and managed to become successful. So here is my suggestion, instead of subsidizing cellular plans with my tax dollars, how about we come up with a way to get these people jobs.
