Rubber Stoppers cracked??
Hey Guys,
Long time, no post! Anyhow, my car has developed a decent shake whenever I get on the gas at 50mph and above. I mentioned it to the honda dealership when I got my tires balanced and they said they'd check out the motor mounts. They said the motor mounts were fine but that the two rubber stoppers were cracked and "could" be the cause. Any ideas?
I was thinking fuel delivery system somehow.
The car will shake.. not just the wheel or gas pedal but the entire car. It's not constant, and not every time I'm pressing the gas harder than normal. I can be cruising at 70mph on my commute and it'll start shaking. It will also sometimes shake when moving down the rev range - 80mph ---> 70mph.
I did a search and saw a post saying something with fuel delivery but wouldn't that make it shudder at every speed, or at high rpms in lower gears?
THANKS!
