You can stack a lot in an average container really. I have a buddy who got over 300 motors into one and had enough room if he had stacked them to put a couple front clips and other parts in with no problem at all.

I could see a bunch of diesel motors in a container and a car to finish off the load to make it worthwhile. A single container of average size is only a couple grand in shipping, so it's actually pretty easy to make your money back and be able to offer smoking deals, especially if you are buying a large quantity at a time. Yeah they cost the consumer 1k each but you can bet the wholesaler was picking them up at 250-300 a pop then when the shipping breaks down he is only in it may 350-450 per motor at the most. which gives a pretty wide margin to make deals.
