I was asking you. I had to order the upgrade DVD from Dell, was wondering how long it took. It is a free upgrade, but you still have to ask for it or they won't send it.
I hate Vista, I honestly think it was the worst operating system ever written. I hope 7 is much better. If not, I am going back to XP for a long time.
If given the ability, do a fresh install and not an upgrade. You never know what could be lingering in the background...I also had some virus that wouldn't go away so nuke and smile for me.
Vista was nowhere NEAR as bad as Windows Me....that shit was horrid. I am liking 7 right now. No software issues yet. I heard it can even run as XP somewhere...don't remember where I read it though.
