Oh, and F your ex's. They're ex's for a reason. I don't believe anything ever happens by accident. Nothing about any other human being defines you in the slightest, especially not the ones who failed. Any new experience in life is worth far more than re-living any old experience. Never are those attempts EVER for non-selfish reasons.

I now have only 2 ex's that I'm remotely willing to talk to. I used to be able to say, "I'm friends with all my exes except [the one this thread is about] but have since learned that nothing good comes from re-kindling anything with them. Perhaps by the time you're my age, you'll instead have plenty of examples to support this advice. Keep looking forward, not back.
