"fighting terrorists" is such a broad and generalized term, its ridiculous... for 4 years they have been 'fighting' there... are you telling me that the worlds #1 super power and their allies can't defeat a group of "cave dwellers"?
every war is waged for an idea, true, but this is a war AGAINST an idea... its like shooting The Blob with your m4a1... sure you'll poke a few holes, but they will just fill back up again... it seems that for every "terrorist" they kill, two more take his place.
They're fighting the Taliban. The "war on terror" is just a snappy line, it doesn't mean anything. And you try fighting an enemy that looks exactly the same as the civilian population. Hell, if they hung out in caves, it would make the military's job much easier. In a cave? Alright, shoot that guy. In a store? Alright leave that guy alone. :chuckles:
