hold down bolt for the rotor backed out. Luckily it didnt move too far or the car would have quit running. It moved just enough to jump time a smidge. Replaced the torn up cap and rotor and the car is back to normal.
Funny thing is this is the second time the bolt has backed out. Last time my wife got stuck on the side of the road. this time I found a new bolt and used a dap of locktite.
