ODST is not just an expansion. It's a different game.
I'd only be buying it for the multiplayer. According to IGN, the multiplayer is pretty much the same game w/ 3 new maps.
"The gameplay, matchmaking, and general layout is unchanged from Halo 3, so don't expect to go into this game with the ODST's sweet pistol or silenced SMG. This is simply more of the Halo 3 adversarial game you've been playing for the past couple of years." http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/102/1025307p4.html
Are you guys really that excited about another Halo campaign that only lasts for approximately 6 hours?
Firefight does seem like it would be fun, but I doubt I would play this very often. I already have this on GOW2, but have only played it a few times.
To me, this game is all about the standard multiplayer. Had this been 12 new maps with some new weapons in addition to the campaign and firefight, I would have pre-ordered for sure.
