He also did several other things that you will either agree or disagree with based on your political ideals (primarily the Recovery and Reinvestment Act). I wont go into those, but I refuse to believe the things I listed above aren't widely approved by the general public.
pay freezes and restrictions on lobbyists are nothing more than fluff, try and make me feel good things.
in the big scheme of things those are like drops of water in the ocean.
as for the consumer protection acts are these ones he wrote? ones that he really pushed and pulled through the senate and house? or are they ones that merely came across his desk and he said o looks like a good idea and signed? cuz if they are i dont really see how you can call those his accomplishments.
