So are you getting a new intercooler to replace the one you rigged up with the fan? If not, can I make a suggestion? That fan is not going to do anything for you. You need to seal the air gap between the intercooler and the fan or it's not going to go through the intercooler at all. This is the same reason they usually suck air through radiators instead of trying to push it through with a fan. Maybe you could make an air ram for it instead if you are going to keep it.
