i don't know how you're racking the slide but if you grip it firmly (the grip) then grab the slide with your whole hand (wrap it over the top) and pull back as you push forward it is ALOT easier
took my wife, I did the push and pull like you said, it's not that hard.
I checked out a S&W .40 as well, it was nice. But I think I liked the G23 more.
But the Ruger GP100 was still really nice and has the option of the 2 types of bullets. Wife liked them both.
What would do you carry?
