Police are looking for three men wanted in connection with a home invasion and robbery overnight in south Charlotte.
The incident was reported about 3:45 a.m. at a residence in the 4300 block of Ruskin Drive. That is north of Woodlawn Road and west of Scaleybark Road.
Three men kicked in the front door, police said, and entered a residence occupied by four people. One man was armed with a shotgun and the others with knives, police said. The three men searched through the residence and took an Xbox, a laptop computer and cash, according to police reports.
Police say one victim was hit with the shotgun and another resident kicked during the assault.
Police released a detailed description of one suspect, saying he was a black male with a long goatee, wearing a red hat, a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Only a sketchy description was issued of the two other men.
