I believe all of the Samsung LED's have built in viewing angle adjustments.
I think I saw it was something like 7% loss of color at 90 degrees with brighter black levels. So, yes there is some side loss I guess, but the overall picture quality is better than the LCD's and even some of the best Plasmas.
