The job is actually in Provo, but I'd live in SLC as suggested by my would be boss.
I've talked to some people, and they said coming from Baltimore, life is a lot slower and there are tons of Mormons. And if I can deal with them, it shouldn't be too bad.
I def love the outdoors. I moutain bike and used to ski every year in Colorado when my brother lived in Breck. So I don't see myself being bored or too lonely.
Also, I don't plan on being there too long, it would just be a "starting newspaper."
Alas, I'm not familuar with laws and drinking, L T. Wanna fill me in? I do know beers can't be so many percenatge or something, but I have buddy in SLC that brews his own.
Tell me a little bit about your current lifestyle? What do you like to do for fun, do you have a large core group of friends, etc?
Being from Baltimore, the snow won't be anything new to you. The people here are really great. If you're living in SLC, the majority of people living there (50%+) are not Mormon.
