the camshaft merely opens the intake and exhaust valves. lift and duration are a factor i agree but on a boost motor it is more important that the valve shuts and seats not how long it stays open. besides do you even know what the function of VTEC is??? do you know what it does??? seems to me if you knew you wouldnt question. go look on u tube man check out the dyno honda engines they have that create power at the 10,000 rpm range then ask me again.
