have you ever even held a d series vtec dizzy up next to a non vtec one?? you would have to completely cut 2 of the 3 ears off the non vtec dizzy and weld em back on at the right place to make it work??it's a no go not to mention the fact that you would also have to grind half of the bottom of the non vtec dizzy off in order for it to clear?? my day is great and yes i have a d-15b jdm bottom end and d-16z6 head usdm (mini me) and if you want to do the jump from obd0 (1988-1991) to the z6 head which is obd1 wiring in years (1992-1995) to do it legit you have to buy a jumper harness from obdo to obd1 get the td-42 dizzy otherwise ur not running full vtec potential.ur prolly still only gettin 100h.p. thas why ur sayin its not worth it! vtec didnt even come out until 1992 and i would be very suprised if you even know what it stands for cause if you did you would realize that ur Ecu has direct control over ur dizzy and there is no way you could properly manage ur vtec without the correct ecu and dizzy combo!have a nice day!
