He can cut the housing of his current distributor and it'll work fine. Also, he needs a p28 ECU - the p06 was found in the DX/LX models. He could chip his p06 ECU for ~$40 though, and it'll function the same as a p28.

I've been driving a mini-me for about 4 years, and it's been holding up fine so far. However, I think it was a terrible use of my money. If I was to go back and do it again, I would have just swapped in a d16a6 camshaft.
