Okay, I am new to this site and Im also new to Honda's. So bear with me!

I recently bought a 93 civic DX hatchback with a D15B7 and 288xxx miles. Its clean and runs decent for now but the signs are leading to not much longer. I found some deals for cheap vtec motors and I've heard that they are decent on mileage and great for building some cheap power and I'm on a very tight budget.

What is the process of swapping a sohc non-vtec to a sohc vtec motor? What all do I need for this to be possible? Do I need new wiring? Computer? Tranny? Mounts? Etc, etc, etc.



Any help would be awesome.
