There are plenty of hobos in Boulder, but they leave you alone for the most part.
Chicago bums are the worst... one time I had one ask for some cash, I gave him a few bucks and he looked in my wallet and asked for more

i'm pretty much the same way but once in a while, I might give a little bit. mental illness is a tough situation and i definitely sympathize but there are plenty of tax dollar funded hospitals and shelters to oversee these dudes...
