Ok, something I haven't thought of (or even heard about) that was brought to my attention was that the OEM 1/4" fuel lines weren't adequate for pressures below 30 psi. and that I should upgrade to 5/16" or -6 AN hose on the return side of the fuel rail.

It seems to make sense to me. Does anyone else agree or see how this may, or may not, work?

Again, the other alternative, my original plan, was to take apart the FPR, take out the interchangeable discharge port and enlarging the .200" port to, say, .225". Like I said in the OP, I'm trying to reach the targeted 28 psi., which is only 2 to 3 less than where I'm at now. Thanks.
